On behalf of the Americas Policy Group, we would like to thank you for the opportunity to  meet with you last May 27 regarding the human rights and democracy crisis in Guatemala.  

We would appreciate it if you could keep us informed of any parliamentary activity that may  be of interest to our group related to Guatemala and of the opportunity to present to the  Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs  and International Development.  

Finally, in order to follow up on the fast-evolving situation in Guatemala, we would like to  request a meeting with you in September at your earliest convenience.
